City of Boulder Open Space and Mountains Parks Ranger. Part of the second wave who responded within minutes to the King Soopers at the main entrance. He later helped people evacuate from the back of the store.

Employee of King Soopers (Store #33), was inside the store at the self-checkout during the time of the incident.

 

CHELSEA PENNINGTON HAHN

Curator of Collections, Museum of Boulder. Went almost daily to the memorial wall outside of the King Soopers in the month after the incident.

 

LOUIS SAXTON

CU Boulder student and cellist who played by the memorial wall the week after the incident. He was also at the King Soopers at the onset of the incident.

ANNA HAYNES

Boulder resident who lived across from the King Soopers and watched the incident from her front window. She’s also a student at CU Boulder.

 

BRANDON MULHALL

Boulder Police Officer who helped adjacent businesses evacuate and helped secure the back of the King Soopers during the incident.

 

CHERI SPOTTKE

Investigator and Public Information Officer (PIO) for Westminster Police Department - she also helped lead the Boulder Police Department’s PIO and served as the primary liaison for the 9 PIO's for victim's families.

 

CHRIS(Christine) KASTANEK

Works as 911 dispatcher for City of Boulder Police and Fire Communication. She assisted with telling people were to hide during the incident as well as coordinated official efforts related to the response.

Works with Acudetox therapy at the Boulder Strong Resource Center, helping to heal some of the trauma from those impacted.

A South Boulder resident who witnessed part of the incident and works as a therapist in Boulder, with some clients who have been impacted by the event.
